Buttock Lift
Service, Product https://data.lytleplasticsurgery.com/services/buttock-lift- Description
-
A buttock lift, or gluteal lift, improves the shape and tone of the underlying tissue that supports skin and fat in the buttock area.
Aging, sun damage, pregnancy, significant fluctuations in weight, and genetic factors may contribute to poor tissue elasticity that can result in sagging of the buttocks.
In order to achieve a smoother and more pleasing contour, excess sagging skin and fat are removed. A traditional gluteal lift will not make a butt larger but may improve a dimpled, irregular skin surface. This procedure may be included in a body lift or may be performed separately.

- Process Overview
-
While you are standing, Dr. Lytle performs precise anatomical marking. He maps out exactly where skin needs to be removed so that the final incision is hidden within your natural "bikini or thong line."
The Procedure is performed under general anesthesia in a surgical suite. Unlike an augmentation, the focus here is "excision and elevation." Dr. Lytle removes the excess "apron" of skin and fat from the upper buttock/lower back area.
Once the redundant tissue is removed, the remaining skin is pulled upward and anchored. This tightens the entire lower body profile, smoothing out the appearance of the outer thighs and lower back as well.
Small surgical drains may be placed to prevent fluid buildup, and you are immediately placed in a medical-grade compression garment to hold your new shape in place.
To ensure the skin heals flat and smooth, Dr. Lytle includes 2–3 post-operative lymphatic massages starting at the two-week mark. This significantly cuts down on swelling and stiffness.
